About Iron Haven

Iron Haven exists to take responsibility for the properties entrusted to our care, reduce uncertainty for owners, and follow through when something needs attention.

What Iron Haven stands for

Stewardship means accepting responsibility, using sound judgment, communicating clearly, and being dependable when something important is in your care.

The Iron Standard

Be worthy of the keys.

That standard guides how we communicate, how we make decisions, and how we care for the properties and projects placed in our hands.

How we work

Stewardship

Accept responsibility for what has been entrusted to us and treat the property as something worth protecting.

Integrity

Do what is right, communicate clearly, and avoid shortcuts that create problems later.

Judgment

Pay attention, understand the situation, and act deliberately rather than reactively.

Dependability

Keep our word, follow through, and be there when the property or owner needs attention.

Credentials and protection

Confidence in who is entrusted with your property.

Caring for someone’s property carries real responsibility. Clients should know who they are trusting, what qualifications stand behind the work, and that the proper protections are in place.

Iron Haven maintains commercial liability and commercial automobile insurance appropriate to its current operations, with additional coverage maintained as required for the services provided.

Iron Haven is owned and operated by Eric Thorpe, a licensed Maine Animal Damage Control Agent and Registered Maine Guide who also works professionally as an engineer. His engineering background brings a disciplined, systems-based approach to problem-solving, documentation, coordination, and property oversight. Together, these experiences are rooted in sound judgment, safety, respect for private property, and accountability for work performed in the field.

Licensing, insurance, operating standards, and documentation are part of how Iron Haven does business. They support the same expectation brought to every property entrusted to our care: know what you are responsible for, document what matters, and follow through.

Why one accountable relationship matters

Iron Haven is built around the idea that owners should not have to coordinate a different person every time something needs attention. One trusted point of responsibility creates better continuity, clearer communication, and stronger follow-through across the property.

Entrusting a property to someone should feel simple.

Start with a conversation about the property, what matters most, and where dependable local oversight would make the biggest difference.
